COLD-BLOODED PEANUT NOODLES

This is your 10-minute fix for a boring lunch. Fast, sticky, spicy, and a hell of a lot better than that sad salad you were thinking about.

  • Prep Time: 5 mins
  • Cook Time: 5 mins
  • Serves: 1 (or 2, if you’re forced to share)

THE GOODS (WHAT YOU NEED)

  • 1 pack of your favorite noodles (ramen, udon, soba—we don’t care, just make ’em good)
  • 3-4 heavy tablespoons of Crocodillo Peanut Grind (don’t be shy)
  • 1 splash of soy sauce
  • A splash of the hot water you cooked the noodles in (this is the secret, don’t skip it)
  • The Extras (Optional but legit): Sliced spring onions, crushed peanuts, sesame seeds, maybe a fried egg if you’re feeling fancy.

THE TAKEDOWN (HOW TO DO IT)

  1. BOIL THE NOODLES. Follow the instructions on the package. You know how to do this. Don’t overcook them.
  2. SAVE THE WATER. Before you drain the noodles, grab a small mug and save a few tablespoons of that hot, starchy noodle water.
  3. MAKE THE SAUCE. In a big bowl, dump the Peanut Grind, soy sauce, and a splash of the hot noodle water. Whisk it all together until it’s a creamy, perfect sauce.
  4. MIX IT. Drain your noodles and throw them straight into the sauce bowl. Toss ’em. Get every single noodle coated.
  5. FINISH IT. Top with your extras. Eat it immediately. Don’t wait.
